“Not a Good Deal for America”
In a preview of next week’s Senate consideration of the Ryan – Murray budget deal, Florida Senator Marco Rubio said the budget is “irresponsible” and only delays the day of reckoning for the nation’s debt crisis.
In opposing the deal, Rubio said it increases spending by $60 billion over two years and calls for spending cuts over the next 10 years. He said he was skeptical that the cuts would materialize.
